Requirement of new age mummies..
When we were small, what did our mom's do as housewives?
They took care of household chores, they made one gravy and one sabzi or idli with podi to pack a meal.
But today, to be a housewife some *minimum qualifications* are needed :
1. U need to know how to cook American, Italian, Chinese and Tandoori style.
2.Need to know how to drive a vehicle to pickup and drop off at school, yoga and dance class.
3. Need to know to browse and dig deep into the internet to do projects for the kids In a manner that no one has seen or done before.
4.Need to teach what math we learned in tenth grade to a boy studying in third grade now.
5. If the child is in 12th grade, should they write NEET, must be able to analyze the scope of a particular efucation.
6. Must be modern and slim for the husband, take care of his parents.
7. Must know how to make chilli chutney (the old fashioned way) using a grinding Stone and also know the latest technology in an iPhone.
8. Be a PA who advises professionally and be a maid who does household chores.
9.Must know the latest news in the country and must know natural healing methods (country style)
10. Sometimes must be auspicious with kumkum and turmeric on the forehead, flowers adorning hair and sometimes must know how to be modern and look fabulous in jeans and t-shirt.
11.Must keep the house clean as a museum.
12. No matter how much work is done, Must wear only a smile on the face and not show exhaustion.
After doing all the work, with a big sigh, if you pick up the phone in your hand...must know how to be patient when people comment "you are enjoying life, always on WhatsApp"
